Disabled Students
Assisting students with disabilities to perform on an equal basis as students without disabilities in an integrated campus setting.
EOPS and CARE
Extended Opportunity Programs and Services (EOPS) is a counseling support program for low income and educationally disadvantaged students.
First Year Experience
The First Year Experience program is designed to help students succeed during their first year of college.
Honors Program
To receive Honors at Sierra College, students may take classes for Honors Credit or students may join the Sierra College Honor Society.
International Students
Sierra College student population provides an excellent opportunity for international students to improve their English and academic skills at a faster pace.
Puente Program
Puente has provided tens of thousands of California students with a vision of success and the support to make that vision a reality.
Study Abroad
Every spring semester Sierra College offers students an opportunity to continue their studies while living in another country for three months.
Supplemental Instruction
Supplemental Instruction (SI) is a program of weekly review sessions for students in difficult courses.
For first generation students (parents have not earned a Bachelor’s degree), TRiO is a federally funded program which helps students overcome class, social and cultural barriers to higher education.
Umoja (Swahili for “unity”) is a state-wide program designed to help improve academic success rates for African American students.
